Concept & Design
Already have plans? We price them line by line and flag anything that will hurt you on site. Starting fresh? We coordinate architects, draftsmen, engineers and energy assessors to shape a home designed around your block, not a catalogue.
Typical: 6–12 weeks with new design
Fixed Quote & Contract
A detailed, fixed-price HIA contract with every selection specified — no provisional-sum surprises. We walk you through it page by page before you sign anything.
Deposit: 5% on contract
Permits & Approvals
We manage planning and building permits, engineering, soil reports and service connections. You get a plain-English update every week while council does its thing.
Permits typically 6–12 weeks depending on council
The Build
Jarrod runs your site with the same trades who build every Humble Abode home. Milestone walk-throughs at slab, frame, lock-up and fixing — and you can call the builder, because you have his number.
Typical custom build: 9–12 months
Handover & Guarantee
A full-day quality inspection together, then keys, manuals, warranties — and a 10-year structural guarantee in writing. Then we come back at three months to fix the little things every new home reveals.

About half our clients arrive with architect drawings, the other half with an idea and a block. Both are welcome. If you have plans, we'll give you a genuine fixed price against them — and tell you honestly where they can be built smarter. If you're starting fresh, we bring the design team to you.
